Weddings
Cochran Mill Nature Center offers a beautiful setting for a wedding. Nestled back in the woods next to an acre pond, the rustic log cabin lodge allows the wedding party and guests to feel as if they are the only people in the world.

Overlooking the pond, the nature center also has a pavilion available for events. The staff will work with you to see that your special day is a fantastic memory.

Family Reunions
Catching up while sitting on the deck or in the pavilion; the kids playing games in the field; the men telling stories by the pond. There is outdoor space for the kids to run around, and they don’t have to worry about being quiet! Let us know what your needs are, and we will work with you to make sure your reunion is great!

Private Birthday Parties
Have you ever partied with an alligator, python or one-eyed hawk? Have your Nature Birthday Party at Cochran Mill Nature Center and these could be some of the guests who may attend. Kids turning ages 4-12 can invite up to 15 of their friends. There will be party favors for all attendees as well as a special gift for the honoree.

The cost is $125 for members and $150 for non-members. This fee includes exclusive use of our reptile exhibit/birthday room for 1.5 hours which includes a 45 minute naturalist-led hands-on educational program for a meet-and-greet experience with some of our animals*, then the remaining 45 minutes can be spent with family and friends for cake/ice cream and gifts etc.. We will have tables, chairs, tablecloths, decorations and gift bags all set up for you... all you need to bring is your paper and plastic ware (plates, cups, forks etc.) and any food and drink you may want. There are kitchen facilities available with fridge/freezer, microwave and oven. Call us for more details.

Cochran Mill Nature Center has been the site of graduation parties for years. The relaxed setting allows the focus to be on the recent graduate. When you rent the facility you can be assured no other event will be taking place on the grounds. The place is yours!
